MERAKI [may-rah-kee] (adjective) - often used to describe what happens when you leave a piece of yourself, your soul, creativity, or love in your work. When you love doing something, anything, so much that you put something of yourself into it.
MERAKI Woods is a company that demands uniqueness and has nature, technology, and futurism at its heart.This group of creative furniture makers combines refurbished wood slabs with the cutting edge technology of the 21st century. hey started from simple coffee tables, and ended up creating height adjustable desks with integrated wireless chargers.
OBJECTIVE
The owners' vision is all about making a difference, which reflects in the products produced by the company. Even the logo projects themes of genius and uniqueness, with the tree, rings transporting me from my busy days into a land far, far away. I knew, with this brand, that I had to create something that had never been done before but was still convenient and easy to use.
OUTCOME
I consider every website a personal piece of art, and this project was no exception. Before long, it became something I held close to my heart and wanted to produce a high-quality, magical piece of work for the company. Even with the company’s minimalistic layout, I was able to let my creative juices flow, and had some brilliant feedback for doing so!

My team also created a majority of the 3D visualizations of the company’s products. As a result of my work, mobile traffic to the website has exceeded the desktop traffic received, and we would love to take advantage of this by creating an entirely separate mobile version.
